Learning to Read and Write Chinese: 勉强没有幸福

October 20th, 2009 § 0 comments

勉强 miǎn qiǎng, manage (to do something) with difficulty / force somebody to do something
没有 méi yǒu, haven’t / hasn’t / doesn’t exist / to not have / to not be
幸福 xìng fú, blessed / happiness / happy

“人各有志, 勉强没有幸福” To me this phrase means, “Each person has their own will/ what they want to do/ lean towards, any persistent and negatively forced efforts on self or others will not conceive happiness”.

Do things that make you HAPPY!
